This wasn’t a typical December day since I didn’t spend few hours listening to econometrics teacher about the romantics behind Stata codes.
I and my partner decided to go to a coffee shop and take some pictures. I guess you can call it a content day. I had an apple mumma with whipped cream. It was surprisingly good, but nothing can ever be better than coffee. Am I right coffee drinkers?
After we got back I didn’t manage to make a lot of progress in any areas of interest. Since it started getting dark at 3pm my productivity has really taken a nosedive. I enjoy December darkness. However, as soon as it’s dark outside all I want to do is wrap myself into a blanket, take a cup of hot chocolate and watch Friends.
For dinner I made a typical Lithuanian Christmas food balta mišrainė or white salad if I try to translate directly. It was really good, but I was the only one in the household that was excited about it. Normally, people that are not coming from my region, doesn’t understand the hype behind mixing cooked potatoes, carrots, peas, eggs, pickles and mayo.
How is December treating you so far?
